Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain industrial network architectures supporting manufacturing and operational systems
Support connectivity for ICS/SCADA, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and other plant‑floor devices
Troubleshoot network performance issues across switches, firewalls, VLANs, and industrial communication protocols
Collaborate with OT, IT, and engineering teams to ensure secure and reliable data flow between systems
Assist with network segmentation, monitoring, and cybersecurity best practices in OT environments
Document network configurations, diagrams, and standards
Provide remote support with periodic onsite visits (40% travel)
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing network engineering
Strong understanding of Layer 2/3 networking, VLANs, routing, and firewalls
Experience supporting ICS/SCADA or industrial automation environments
Familiarity with industrial protocols (Modbus, Profinet, EtherNet/IP, OPC, etc.)
Knowledge of OT cybersecurity principles and segmentation strategies
Ability to communicate clearly with cross‑functional teams
Ability to travel between 20-40% of the time
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
