Chief Financial Officer

Park DuValle Community Health Centers is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Chief Financial Officer to oversee the financial operations of their organization. The role involves providing expert analysis, ensuring compliance, and supporting key economic objectives to contribute to the financial health and growth of the Center.

Responsibilities

Prepare comprehensive financial analyses of operations to guide management decision-making
Contribute to the development of major economic objectives and policies for the Center
Prepare reports outlining the organization’s financial position based on historical, current, and projected operations
Administer the organization’s budget throughout the fiscal year, ensuring disbursements align with approved budgets
Establish and maintain internal controls for all financial procedures within the Center
Review all tax returns and cost reports for accuracy and compliance
Coordinate the annual financial audit, including Medicaid and Medicare audits
Review payroll changes to ensure compliance with the annual budget
Sign and validate expense checks, ensuring proper authorization and accuracy
Deliver up to date reports to CEO and Board members
Maintaining adequate insurance coverage for the Center

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and financial reporting
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, including Medicaid and Medicare audits
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to establish and maintain internal controls and financial procedures
Ability to manage a team of accountants
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
Attention to detail and high level of integrity and professionalism

Preferred

CPA or equivalent certification preferred
