OATA LLC is a growing organization of private DMV service providers focused on delivering quality and accurate title and registration processing. They are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead financial operations, ensure compliance, and provide timely financial reporting as the organization grows.

Responsibilities

Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank receipts, fixed assets, and payroll

Ensure proper revenue and expense recognition in accordance with GAAP

Review and assist with monthly bank reconciliations

Maintain specialized accounting entries, schedules, and reconciliations related to government agency transactions

Perform month-end and year-end close activities and provide timely financial reporting to management

Process NSF items and customer chargebacks

Prepare and maintain specialty weekly reports and reconciliations for vendors and government agencies

Provide management, oversight, and day-to-day support to the OATA Finance & Accounting Department

Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and improve finance and accounting operations through process improvements, technology, and training

Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational needs

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Finance or Accounting, or an associate's degree with 3–5+ years of relevant accounting or finance experience

Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

Experience with Sage 50 Accounting Software or similar accounting systems

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel

Strong time management, organizational, and data analysis skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

High level of personal motivation, professionalism, and work ethic

Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
