Senior Equipment Finance Manager

Responsibilities
Responsible for the overall origination performance of the EF business unit through leading the sales effort of our Equipment Finance team for total origination and fee income
Contribute to the strategic direction of the EF business unit, focusing on long-term growth and profitability
Additionally, use a strong understanding of the origination of syndicated EF transactions and personal engagement experience within EF Syndications to contribute to the overall success of the department’s origination and fee income goals
Lead and support EF staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer-centric service
Assist with overseeing operational functions including accounting, credit, and compliance to ensure alignment with internal policies and regulatory standards
Ensure efficient departmental operations and compliance with corporate and regulatory guidelines
Assist in the development, formation, and negotiation of EF documentation based on EF Industry market standard knowledge, and help establish policies related to pricing, terms, and transaction structures to align with market based and asset based knowledge
Collaborate with Leadership to shape and execute strategies that drive new business opportunities in Equipment Finance
Engage directly with major prospects and existing clients, supporting relationship development and deal structuring
Responsible for credit quality across the EF portfolio, including transaction approvals and risk assessments, and collaborate with the Credit Department on underwriting and structuring
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty Business, finance or related
10 or more years significant experience in Equipment Finance originations including in depth knowledge of all EF loan and lease structures, progressive and proven EF leadership experience, including 5+ years in an EF business unit management or executive role
Proven ability of leading EF sales teams for all levels and structures of EF loans and leases. or multi-functional departments that align with EF business units
Skilled in developing and executing strategic plans aligned with corporate goals related to EF strategies
Deep understanding and knowledge of the Equipment Finance industry, through experience with external EF entities
Demonstrated ability to navigate industry-specific challenges, based on previous experience within the EF industry
Preferred
Master's Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty Business
5 or more years experience managing P&L responsibilities, budgeting, and financial forecasting
Strong background in operational efficiency, cost control, and performance metrics
Skilled in working with executive leadership, board members, and external stakeholders
Ability to build partnerships across departments and with external partners
Demonstrated success in leading organizational change, restructuring, or transformation initiatives
Strong executive presence with excellent communication and negotiation skills
Able to represent the division in public forums, media, or industry events
