Responsibilities
Negotiate, draft, edit, and review financing documents in complex, multiparty transactions
Prepare and communicate advice through memoranda, opinion letters, and emails
Represent clients at authority, board, commission, and committee meetings
Draft and review public-finance-related legislation
Provide legal advice to other Department of Justice units, especially on the topics of procurement, contracts, and related transactional matters
Qualification
Required
Prior public-finance experience is a strong plus for this position
Attorneys with a track record of accomplishment in a transactional practice or who demonstrate the potential to succeed in a transactional practice are also encouraged to apply for this position
