BNY is a leading global financial services company, and they are seeking a Senior Client Operations Analyst to support day-to-day portfolio administration and client service across a diverse book of institutional and corporate clients. This role manages client portfolio activities and ensures a seamless client experience.

Responsibilities

Client Portfolio Management: Manage onboarding activities, administrative setups, and ongoing account updates in accordance with operating procedures and service standards
Operational Incident Management: Monitor, investigate, and resolve operational issues; coordinate triage efforts, track root causes, and ensure timely remediation and client communication
Client Support & Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for client operational inquiries, providing responsive, professional support and escalating issues as needed
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate portfolio documentation and status tracking; prepare summaries and reporting for internal stakeholders and clients using Excel and PowerPoint
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Operations, Technology, and Product teams to streamline processes, reduce risk, and improve overall client outcomes
Risk & Process Improvement: Support control and risk practices by adhering to procedures, identifying process gaps, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

Required

4+ years of experience in banking and/or payments operations (e.g., transaction processing, treasury/cash management, or related functions)
Strong client or customer service background with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues under time pressure with strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data organization, basic formulas, pivot tables) and PowerPoint (structured reporting and presentations)
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple workstreams

Preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
FX operations exposure (settlements, confirmations, funding, cutoffs, operational flows)
Experience with incident monitoring tools, ticketing systems, or workflow platforms
Experience partnering with technology teams on incident remediation or process enhancements
SWIFT experience; knowledge of ISO 20022 a plus
