Responsibilities
Serves as an advanced pharmacist practitioner engaged in providing pharmaceutical care
Regularly monitors patient-specific therapies and collaborates with other health care team members
Participates in quality-assurance activities, represents department on hospital-wide committees, and serves as a resource for other health care practitioners
Ensure safe and accurate dosing, preparation and handling of chemotherapy
Actively participates as a preceptor for the residency program and for students, when appropriate
Primarily serves as the Oncology Clinical Pharmacist, however, is available to help Central Pharmacy functions if needed
This position reports directly to the Clinical Pharmacy Practice Manager
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy from accredited school
PGY-1 from an ASHP-accredited program
Current Maryland Pharmacist license
Preferred
PharmD
PGY-2 from an ASHP-accredited program
3-5 years of relevant clinical experience
