Responsibilities
Managing all aspects of estate and trust administration from inception through closing
Preparing and filing probate documents
Maintaining extensive communication with clients, financial planners, and accountants
Assisting with the preparation of federal and state estate tax returns and fiduciary accountings
Coordinating asset distributions and trust funding
Preparing and recording deeds and related documentation
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in Trust and Estate Administration
Comprehensive experience handling all phases of estate and trust administration, including probate matters
Familiarity with New Jersey, New York, and Florida probate procedures
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple matters
Collaborative team player with a proactive work ethic
Strong working knowledge of estate tax software (ONESOURCE/Fast Tax preferred), HotDocs, and Microsoft Word
Preferred
A college degree and/or paralegal certificate
