Responsibilities
Lead Real Estate Litigation: Drive the strategy and execution of complex real estate and business disputes from inception through resolution
Expert Advocacy: Perform sophisticated legal research and craft "court-ready" motions, trial briefs, and memoranda with total autonomy
Direct Representation: Act as lead counsel in hearings, mediations, and arbitrations, leveraging your familiarity with California (and specifically San Diego) court systems
Client Stewardship: Serve as the primary legal advisor for a diverse portfolio of real estate and business clients, providing high-level strategic counsel
Strategic Collaboration: Partner with firm leadership in San Diego and Irvine to refine trial tactics and mentor junior staff in a digital environment
Qualification
Required
Active member in good standing with the State Bar of California
min 5 years of civil litigation experience, with a significant emphasis on Real Estate Law
Must be currently based in the San Diego, CA area
Extensive experience taking/defending depositions and arguing complex motions; trial experience is a strong plus
Proven ability to manage a heavy caseload independently using modern practice management and communication tools
