Responsibilities
Build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plug-ins across the WFOGen portfolio
Work with various CMS platforms and static-site generators, as projects require
Write clean, maintainable code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
Create and manage automated workflows using n8n, Make (formerly Integromat), and Zapier
Build data synchronization processes, lead routing systems, and marketing automation
Integrate AI tools and APIs (ChatGPT, computer vision libraries) into web applications
Develop and consume REST and GraphQL APIs
Manage hosting environments, domain configuration, SSL certificates, and performance monitoring
Implement SEO best practices and ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG guidelines)
Maintain version control using Git and support CI/CD pipeline operations
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions
Document systems, processes, and code for team knowledge sharing
Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, and operations
Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical decision-making
Manage multiple concurrent projects across different business units
Qualification
Required
3+ years of professional web development experience with WordPress as primary focus
Hands-on experience with at least one automation platform (n8n, Make, or Zapier) in a production environment
Proficiency in JavaScript, CSS3, and PHP
Experience building and consuming REST APIs
Understanding of AI/ML APIs and basic prompt engineering concepts
Working knowledge of SQL databases and caching mechanisms
Familiarity with deployment pipelines and version control (Git)
Experience with testing frameworks and security best practices
Experience in either UI/UX design or data analytics (portfolio or examples required)
Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Commitment to writing clean, documented, and maintainable code
Eagerness to learn new technologies and stay current with web development trends
Legal work authorization in the United States
Preferred
Previous experience in an agency or multi-client environment
