Georgia State University is seeking to hire a Business Analyst for the Spectrum Office, which supports and maintains administrative software applications. The role involves analysis, development, and support for Financial and HR Applications using PeopleSoft, Oracle, and SciQuest/Jaggaer.

Responsibilities

Work on resolving help desk tickets assigned to the team

Assists in devising and maintaining a plan of operation that will facilitate the efficient functioning of our PeopleSoft Financial & HR Applications

Participate in discussion groups to recommend design improvement

Responsible for system enhancements, documentation and establishes protocols to assure data integrity

Responsible for coding, testing and updating new patches and systems as required

Maintain Security and Workflow for PeopleSoft Financials, HCM and/or SciQuest applications

Assists with training and work on resolving help desk tickets assigned to the team

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business or Information technology and four years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience

This position is limited to applicants who are legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Preferred

Experience with PeopleSoft Financials or a comparable product

Experience with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle including analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation

Experience in using databases, particularly Oracle and SQL developer

Experience in developing applications, reports and queries in PeopleSoft

Experience with end user support

Knowledge of PeopleSoft development tools like SQR and Application Designer

Strong problem-solving skills to develop quick yet sound solutions to resolve complex issues

Excellent communication and analytical skills

Ability to pay attention to detail

Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments

Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
