The Internal Communications Specialist will coordinate employee communications across the enterprise, manage content for internal publications, and implement a new communication tool/platform to enhance operational communications.

Responsibilities

Manage and develop content for internal publications, including employee newsletters, the internal intranet, and other communications tools, as well as social media channels

Research and implement a new enterprise-wide communications platform

Write stories, take photos, and prepare short videos for campaigns and initiatives as assigned

Manage complex communications projects for internal audiences – from conception to roll-out

Provide critical support to key internal stakeholders and experts for employee communications, including Human Resources, clinical leadership and operations, Corporate Compliance, and other disciplines

Assist the Director of Corporate Communications and Public Relations with Incident Command and crisis communications planning and response efforts

Serve on relevant workgroups and committees as a key stakeholder for staff education and outreach

Assist with miscellaneous Marketing & Communications projects and tasks as needed, including donor communications, social media content, copywriting, proofreading, and other duties as assigned

Required

4 Year / Bachelor's Degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Public Relations or related field, required

Minimum 5 years in a multi-entity, complex corporate environment working with internal communication - preferably healthcare, required
