Responsibilities

Operations & Maintenance (O&M) : This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day performance of the O&M team supporting an enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) services organization under a Federal contract. This role manages the continuous, reliable operation of the BI platform, data pipelines, and reporting environments, managing service delivery, incident response, system enhancements, and lifecycle maintenance activities in accordance with contract requirements and service-level agreements

Standard Operating Procedures: Establish and enforce standard operating procedures, coordinating with government stakeholders and internal program leadership

Process Improvement: Drive continuous process improvement to enhance system performance, data quality, security compliance, and overall mission support

System Testing: Develop and execute test plans to ensure that proposed solutions meet business requirements and quality standards

Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, facilitating effective communication and alignment between both parties. Document and present findings, recommendations, and proposed solutions to client stakeholders, and articulate verbally and in writing any questions and concerns that arise

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues in projects, devise strategies to mitigate them and ensure project timelines and objectives are met

Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related IT field

At least 7 years of professional experience including program / project management, business intelligence / data analysis, SDLC and/or IT strategic planning and implementation

Experience with enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) analysis and/or development using leading BI tools such as MicroStrategy

Strong IT background with experience on application development teams, with data management and reporting, and with collaboration tools such as Teams, Sharepoint, Jira, and Confluence

Must have the ability to adjust to a fast paced, high volume work environment with demanding deadlines

Must be customer focused and possess the ability to identify issues, analyze, and interpret data and develop solutions to user needs

Strong communication skills required, including the ability to document and present findings, recommendations, proposed solutions and lifecycle documentation to client stakeholders in well-formed and well-finished documents, and to articulate verbally and in writing any ideas, questions and concerns that arise

Proven ability to organize and lead daily activities of an ongoing, production BI services operation serving a large Federal stakeholder base

Ability to operate independently, proactively and productively in an environment of complexity, evolving needs and priorities, and multiple simultaneous activities and deliverables

Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders, and to interact with respect and professional courtesy

Sole U.S. Citizenship is required

Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Public Trust clearance
