The Institute for Applied Behavior Analysis is seeking Employment Coaches to support adults with developmental disabilities in North Orange County, CA. The role involves providing direct services, facilitating community connections, and teaching independent living skills to clients with autism and intellectual disabilities.

Provide meaningful direct services to help individuals with developmental disabilities reach their goals!

Support clients with autism and intellectual disabilities in workplaces, schools, and the community

Facilitate meaningful community connections through activities and volunteer opportunities

Teach independent living skills and promote adaptive behaviors

Provide transportation and assist with public transit training

Encourage client growth in a fun, supportive environment

Qualification

CPR/First Aid certificationProAct certificationPersonal care assistancePrior training in ABAHigh School DiplomaReliable vehicleMobility training assistance

Required

Possess a minimum of High School Diploma or G.E.D

Reliable vehicle, valid CA driver's license, insurance, and clean driving record

Provide transportation and assist with mobility training

CPR/First Aid and ProAct certification within first two weeks of employment

Personal care assistance (restroom assistance/changing diaper, wheelchair assistance, comfortable with ADLs)

Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, squat, and lift 25 lbs

Physically assist, guide, and facilitate movement of clients that need assistance (e.g., transfer in/out of wheelchair) and other mobility issues specific to client, and stand or walk for extended periods of time

Successfully pass a Live Scan DOJ/FBI background check
