Responsibilities

Conducts independent scientific research projects from inception to presentation
Prepares and crafts various documentations of research results into manuscripts, proposals, grant applications, and presentations
Trains undergraduates and research technicians
Manages laboratory policies and coordinates project development in collaboration with other specialists
Oversee the generation, maintenance, and characterization of cellular models, derived from both human and non-human primate fibroblasts, to support Alzheimer’s Disease research
Working with marmoset-derived cell lines, optimizing reprogramming techniques, and developing in vitro models to study disease mechanisms

Required

Professional Doctorate Degree
5 years of experience
Expertise in cell culture
Expertise in cellular reprogramming techniques (i.e., iPSC and direct conversion)
Expertise in molecular biology and biochemical techniques
Ability to conduct independent scientific research projects from inception to presentation
Ability to prepare and craft various documentations of research results into manuscripts, proposals, grant applications, and presentations
Ability to train undergraduates and research technicians
Ability to manage laboratory policies and coordinate project development in collaboration with other specialists
Ability to work with marmoset-derived cell lines
Ability to optimize reprogramming techniques
Ability to develop in vitro models to study disease mechanisms
Ability to work in a collaborative, cutting-edge scientific environment
