This role involves operating an on-site studio, managing video shoots, and assisting in communication efforts for legislators, requiring strong videography and editing skills.

Responsibilities
Produces and edits visual media for all members of the House Republican caucus
Operates and maintains an on-site studio for video shoots, podcasts, press conferences and other events
Attends House voting sessions, committee meetings and occasional in-district events around the state to record events
Manages scheduling studio time and prepares shoots for 58 Republican legislators
Prepares and manages the Speaker of the House’s regular press conferences at the Capitol
Qualification
Required
Experience composing, capturing, and editing videos is required
Must be comfortable functioning in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment
Experience managing different personalities and a multitude of issues is required
Must be able to learn House rules, policies, and guidelines
Must be able to develop an understanding of legislative districts and state political processes
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
State government or other relevant experience preferred
Familiarity handling a demanding schedule preferred
