Responsibilities

Leading and managing the Health Services team through effective selection, training, coaching, and performance management
Conducting comprehensive resident assessments prior to move-in and on an ongoing basis, ensuring care plans accurately reflect resident needs and appropriate Levels of Care
Ensuring quality care delivery and regulatory compliance through observations, audits, and documentation review, including EHR/Yardi/Care Stream tasks, QuickMAR/med audits, and call-light response monitoring, with corrective actions implemented as needed
Coordinating care with external partners such as physicians, laboratories, and therapy providers to ensure all orders and treatments are executed accurately
Implementing operational policies and procedures to promote efficiency, safety, and compliance across healthcare services
Managing departmental operations, including budgeting, staffing, supply inventory, record-keeping, and maintaining a safe and organized care environment
Facilitating regular communication with residents, families, and associates to address concerns, discuss care needs, and support engagement and satisfaction

Qualification

Active nursing licensureLeadership experienceCPR/BLS certificationMemory careTechnical skillsCommunication skills

Required

3+ years of experience in a senior living or related industry supervisory or leadership role
Must hold active state-required nursing licensure (RN or LPN) and an acceptable record
Current CPR/BLS certification
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
The ability to assist residents with limited mobility, lift/push/pull up to 50lbs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse groups, navigate challenging situations, and make sound decisions
Strong technical skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to maintain confidential and privileged information (including HIPAA, residents, and associates)

Preferred

2+ years of experience providing care to cognitive and memory-care residents or patients
Bachelor's degree in nursing
