Accounts Assistant
Vitalograph is a global leader in respiratory diagnostics, recently expanding its operations through the acquisition of Morgan Scientific. They are seeking an Accounts Assistant to support the Financial Controller with monthly management accounts and healthcare inventory management.

Responsibilities
Review, enter, and process invoices and payments
Maintain customer accounts – cash receipts, returns, credits and refunds
Review, enter and process vendor invoices and payments
Maintenance of Accounts payable ledger
Review, print and distribute monthly sales reports
General Ledger journals
Organize and maintain files and documentation in accordance with company policy
Assist in warehouse with Shipping and Receiving of Healthcare goods against packing lists
Entering customer information into Business Software including UPS and FedEx
Creating labels for returned goods
Checking goods for damage
Completing weekly and monthly inventory counts for healthcare goods stored on site
Put away goods as received in accordance with FIFO standard
Following standard work procedures relating to warehousing
Other ad-hoc duties
Qualification
Required
High school education with a minimum 2 years' experience in accounting
Worked in a role with full oversight of an accounting function
Must be systems driven and have structured approach to problem solving
Strong communication skills
Ability to think outside the box and help identify areas where we can improve efficiency
Preferred
Associates degree or higher with 2 plus years of experience in accounting is preferred
Experience of using Sage100 desirable
