Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction for the Office of Business services, including strategic planning, budgeting, and staffing. Ensure appropriate execution of objectives and priorities in all areas including personnel, financial, planning, policy development, resource allocation, budget development and operational oversight
Identify, develop, and initiate new services and operational strategies. Provide leadership, guidance and direction for successful completion of initiatives. Assist with complex problem solving of business, technology, and operational issues
Direct all contract negotiations and procurement initiatives as required to ensure quality services are provided to the University community as efficiently as possible. Serve on internal and external committees. Develop partnerships and collaborate with other University departments and other external organizations to develop, organize and implement operational and strategic plans for Division imperatives and Departmental initiatives
Provide direction as it relates to policies, programs and procedures; ensure that the financial and administrative need of a dynamic campus community are met, while ensuring appropriate legal compliance and the financial health and integrity of the University are maintained
Support the Associate VP for Finance and Administration on other related projects
Qualification
Required
Master's degree and six years of experience, or Bachelor's degree and eight years of experience
Four years of experience at the Director level or above
Valid GA/FL Driver's License or ability to obtain prior to hire
