Long Term Care Administrative Assistant - Term (12 Months) - Part Time Days - Ivy Meadows

They are seeking a Long Term Care Administrative Assistant to coordinate office routines and support the administrative team in daily tasks at Ivy Meadows.

Responsibilities
Coordinates general office routines and performs day to day office tasks, including filing, scanning, copying and managing supplies
Composes and types correspondence, reports and letters, messages, memos and meeting minutes as required
Supports and maintains information required for compliance with audits, inspections and statistical information for quality improvement
Functions as a member of the administrative team by providing daily coordination of office/building requirements
Updates and maintains files, records, monthly calendars and databases as required
Supports all necessary posting needs to Northwood’s Hub
If required, assists with scheduling meetings, room bookings, interviews and appointments
Maintains office and office equipment through regular contact with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and outside agencies
Other duties as required
Qualification
Required
Diploma in Office Administration or related field
Knowledge of office equipment (e.g. photocopier, fax machine) required
Proficiency in typing (50 words per minute) required
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
Must have the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
Preferred
Previous experience in health care considered an asset
Knowledge of Point Click Care is considered an asset but not a requirement
