Responsibilities
Realization of value driver obligations to optimize and automate service delivery as stated in the service provider contracts
SP base services utilization and optimization through understanding and calculation of personnel project matrix, dev capacity, and flex capacity as it applies to backlog management of development work
Review and decisioning on external labor requests based on the objectives of the program
Provide and maintain standard framework to perform financial analysis for new service business cases
Establish and maintain the Client chargeback process and Systems
Support budget / tower owners in business case development and financial analysis
Establish and manage the overall budget in connection with the Agreement
Monitor that savings objectives for the Agreement are being met
Investigate variances in forecasted expenses or usage
Review financial analysis for all Service Provider-sponsored initiatives to oversee financial viability
Evaluate validity of invoice SP cost against SLA and service delivery agreements
Assist in and support, as needed, the review of monthly charges to ensure the accuracy of Charges, Client-retained expenses, and Pass-Through Expenses
Oversee that agreed-upon Service Provider financial responsibilities are not converted to Client retained expenses or Pass-Through Expenses
Tracks and validates service provider value drivers; outcomes for contracted obligations for optimization and automation
Understands contracted levers and assists in calculating available capacity within SP base services and flex capacity
Develop / modify processes for ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of key information where process may be lacking or needing improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance or related area of study
5+ years of experience in a Financial Analyst role
Financial Planning & Management: Strong analytical skills and experience in evaluating financial data, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost management
Understanding of technology services and technology outsourcing agreements models
Proficiency in financial reporting and the ability to develop and maintain financial models
Business Case Management: Experience in establishing and maintaining chargeback processes and systems, and supporting effective business case development and tracking
Policy & Compliance Management: Familiarity with financial regulations, including Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, and experience in ensuring adherence to internal financial controls
Invoice Validation Oversight: Experience with evaluating the validity of invoiced costs against service level agreements and service delivery agreements
Demonstrates strong proactivity and initiative
Comfortable working in ambiguous environments; able to anticipate needs, surface risks, and independently drive tasks forward without constant direction
