Distribution Clerk

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is one of the largest retailers in home furnishings, and they are seeking a Distribution Clerk to support their dynamic Supply Chain environment. The role involves processing, inspecting, and packaging products to meet service level expectations for internal and external customers.

Transportation/Trucking/Railroad

Responsibilities

Run and consult systems databases to identify the cartons needed for hub outbound deliveries
Identify via audit exceptions to designated outbound lanes
Build, open and inspect units flagged for further action, as directed via the assembly instructions
Conduct dock searches for cartons as needed, and remove straps and vendor pallets
Daily analysis of hub inventory variances and upkeep of inventory and outbound reports
Running daily reports for hub records
Execute basic waving functions as needed
Locate, receive, and task cartons
Safely and efficiently operate material handling tools and equipment
Keep work area safe, organized and clean according to general warehousing practices and OSHA requirements daily
Utilize Williams-Sonoma’s Mission, Vision, and Values to govern daily activities while maintaining required accuracy percentages, productivity (if required), and quality standards
Other duties as deemed necessary

Required

High School Diploma or Equivalent
At least 6 months experience with RF scanners
This is an onsite and in office role
Excellent attendance and willingness to be part of a team – performing whatever duties are necessary
Willing and able to be cross trained and certified to operate any or all equipment: Reach Tracker, Pacers, Swing Reach, Order Picker/TT, Motorized Pallet Jack
Excellent Warehouse Management System knowledge including hand held, truck mount and desktop
Microsoft Office Proficient: Outlook, Word, and Excel (Basic)
Strong written and verbal communication skills necessary
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work under pressure, and be a fast learner
Flexible to work overtime as required
Job requires continuous physical exertion – walking, bending, lifting, standing, climbing – must be able to lift 65 pounds minimum with or without accommodation

Preferred

Bilingual is a plus – English/Spanish
