Transforming concepts into functional prototypes
Documenting designs using basic mechanical drawing or CAD tools
Executing prototype builds and testing according to engineering direction
Proposing design and process solutions
Coordinating internal and external resources for supplies and services
Collaborating with project teams to help establish specifications and quality standards
Serving as a knowledgeable resource to colleagues
Ensuring all work aligns with required quality system compliance
Qualification
Required
Experience in supporting R&D engineers and scientists
Ability to independently contribute to the development, construction, and analysis of products, materials, processes, and equipment
Experience in transforming concepts into functional prototypes
Ability to document designs using basic mechanical drawing or CAD tools
Experience in executing prototype builds and testing according to engineering direction
Creativity in proposing design and process solutions
Coordination of internal and external resources for supplies and services
Collaboration with project teams to help establish specifications and quality standards
