Responsibilities
Serve as a primary point of contact for project management
Assist the Senior Facilities Manager of Projects and Compliance in delivering high-quality facility services
Manage facility projects including initial fit-outs and renovations
Ensure that all project goals and objectives are accomplished within specified timeframes and funding parameters
Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal laws across manufacturing, warehouse, and office spaces
Coordinate with proponent groups and building committees to facilitate rational facility planning, budgeting, and scheduling
Prepare requests for proposals (RFPs) and conduct meetings to hire architectural and construction management services
Prepare and manage capitalized expenditure budgets, track variances, and ensure a smooth recovery process
Partner with Workplace project resources to ensure that renovations and expansions are organized to limit business disruption
Monitor all phases of construction to ensure adherence to contract and procurement requirements
Prepare detailed project reports and control expenditures in accordance with budget allocations
Serve as a technical expert for the RFI/CFT process, creating specifications and scope of work statements
Provide essential counsel to workplace leadership and related functions such as finance, HR, security, and health and safety
Coordinate with facility occupants during move-ins
Ensure timely communication with consultants and internal customers
Manage initiatives to improve service delivery through cost and quality improvements
Qualification
Required
Undergraduate degree in a related field such as Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management; candidates with degrees in other fields must have equivalent relevant experience
Two or more years of project management in corporate real estate or facilities, particularly within complex or production environments
Strong ability to manage budgets
Progressive leadership experience with the ability to motivate teams
Technical proficiency in OSHA, ISO, NFPA, ANSI, and ADA standards
Proficiency in Google G-Suite and CMMS applications like Corrigo
Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple work-streams in a multi-cultural environment
Ability to influence others in a matrix environment
Act as a diplomatic and flexible representative of the firm
Management of a small, single-function team with expense and revenue responsibilities typically under $1 million
Preferred
Professional designations such as PMP, CPAM, or certifications through organizations like BOMI or IFMA
