Responsibilities
Own data engineering across the platform, from ingestion through transformation and delivery
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python, Spark, SQL, and modern cloud tools
Ensure high standards of data quality, testing, and QA, continuously improving reliability
Partner with product and engineering teams to support analytics, reporting, and customer-facing use cases
Optimize pipelines for performance, scalability, and maintainability
Own projects end-to-end, from design and implementation through long-term support
Help shape data architecture and best practices as the engineering organization grows
Qualification
Required
5–7 years of hands-on data engineering experience building and owning production pipelines end-to-end
Strong Python and SQL skills
Deep understanding of data quality, testing, and operational excellence
Experience in fast-paced startups or growth-stage companies, comfortable taking ownership
Familiarity with modern cloud data platforms and distributed processing tools
Preferred
Spark and Databricks experience a plus
Benefits
$180,000 - $200,000 base salary + equity
Fully remote role within the United States
