Responsibilities
Assist in designing, implementing, and evaluating machine learning and deep learning algorithms using diverse data types: images, videos, text, and tabular data
Collaborate with team members to explore new ideas, prototype solutions, and contribute to building predictive capabilities for CCC’s software products
Support hypothesis testing and data-driven experimentation to validate new concepts
Help implement algorithms for training and evaluating models, and assist in developing proof-of-concept solutions
Learn how models in production are monitored, retrained, and enhanced with new features
Qualification
Required
In order to be considered for this role you are required to be in pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor's or Master's throughout your internship
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms
Familiarity with Python and ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
Exposure to data manipulation and analysis using NumPy, pandas, etc
Basic experience with frontend development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for building simple demo interfaces to showcase ML prototypes
Preferred
Interest in computer vision, NLP, or LLMs
Coursework or projects involving CNNs, transformers, or sequential models
Familiarity with Git and Linux environments
