Responsibilities

Inspection railroad experience including movable bridge replacement
Provides leadership, coaching, and mentoring to subordinate group, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Establishes and maintains comprehensive project records, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and accessibility of all documentation
Serves as technical expert in field inspections and audits, recognized as the 'go-to' expert internally and externally for complex technical issues
Provides guiding direction for inspections on all assignments, ensuring consistency and adherence to quality standards across projects
Sets direction and goals for inspection teams, aligning with overall project objectives and organizational strategies
Acts as external spokesperson on technical project issues, representing the company in meetings with clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders
Leads the development and implementation of audit strategies for individual's area of expertise, continuously refining processes for maximum effectiveness
Serves as key point of contact for high-profile engagements and member of AECOM senior leadership team, contributing to strategic decision-making
Oversees the development and implementation of safety protocols for all inspection activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

Required

HS plus 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Valid US Driver's License

Experience supervising / managing experienced inspectors
10+ years of inspection railroad experience including movable bridge replacement
NICET III certification with the ability to become NICET IV certified
