Responsibilities

Consistently work to provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times

Responsible for smiling, making eye contact and thanking customer upon fulfilling customer's request

Maintain a neat, clean and organized workstation, according to 5S standards, at all times

Assist GM / HBC (or Grocery) Manager with the day to day operation of the general merchandise department. (includes scheduling, ordering and other administrative duties) Oversees the departmental operation in manager's absence

Assist GM / HBC Manager in adherence to CGO policies

Responsible for performing merchandising functions within the GM / HBC department, to include implementation of sales plans, stocking product, pricing and signing and display merchandise and inventory controls

May be responsible for retrieving shopping carts, bagging customer orders and/or running front end register as business needs necessitate

Responsible for accurate receiving warehouse and DSD vendor deliveries (Dexing)

Assist GM / HBC Manager in adherence to CGO policies

Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures

Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures
