LHH is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join their team within the utilities industry. This entry-level role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to build a strong foundation in accounting while gaining hands-on experience in a highly regulated environment.

Human Resources

Responsibilities

Assist with preparing and posting journal entries

Perform basic account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies

Support month-end and year-end closing activities

Review invoices, coding, and supporting documentation for accuracy

Help maintain organized financial records and documentation

Assist with reporting tasks, including compiling data for internal teams

Coordinate with A/P, A/R, and operational teams to ensure timely processing

Support audits by gathering required documentation

Perform other accounting tasks as assigned
