Responsibilities
The Activities Assistant plans, coordinates, and conducts group and individual activities for our Memory Care and/or Assisted Living
Provide residents with individualized and group activities that must include: Social Activities - games, music, Gross Motor Activities - exercise, dancing, gardening, cooking, Crafts - decorations, pictures, Sensory Enhancement - distinguishing, pictures and picture books, reminiscing and scent and tactile stimulation, Outdoor Activities - walking, field trips, Self-Care Activities - dressing, personal hygiene, grooming, Ability to teach/conduct fitness programs
Qualification
Required
Ability to teach/conduct fitness programs
Experience in planning, coordinating, and conducting group and individual activities for residents
Knowledge of social activities, gross motor activities, crafts, sensory enhancement, outdoor activities, and self-care activities
