Responsibilities

Serving as a contact and support for Regional Classification & Compensation Analysts in the coordination of surveys
Providing services to the agency's classification and compensation program area
Conducting classification and reclassification analysis
Performing special studies and research assignments to assess compensation and/or classification effectiveness
Assisting with labor market compensation research
Administering of the civil service staffing process

Required

Analyzing position descriptions (e.g. determining position title based on specifications, conducting formal job analysis, conducting job audits, determining FLSA status, or similar)

Collaborating with hiring managers to develop and facilitate a range of recruitment and selection activities (e.g. developing screening criteria, writing interview questions/benchmarks, developing outreach strategies, or similar)

Preferred

Participating in a classification survey
Developing and delivering formal training
Analyzing reclassification requests in Wisconsin State Government
Using PeopleSoft for managing and tracking human resources data
