Responsibilities
Setting the strategic direction and enable execution around our global Indirect spend
Building an organization that will enable execution of the strategy built by this leader
Leading a team of procurement professionals and establishing strong supplier relationships
Implementing best practices to support the company's objectives and drive continuous improvement
Imbibe a “spend smarter” mindset across the organization
Champion the value of procurement across the organization to reduce "maverick spend"
Imbibe the Buy Better mindset enabling strategic sourcing process implementation
Building, leading and mentoring a high-performing global indirect procurement team
Providing category management leadership and oversight to a $650M indirect portfolio
Evaluating the structural necessities on global/central categories
Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with "top-tier" global vendors
Conducting Executive Business Reviews (EBRs) to ensure continuous improvement
Developing and negotiating strategic contracts and agreements
Implementing robust procurement processes and systems to enhance efficiency, visibility, and compliance
Overseeing risk management and compliance within the procurement function
Monitoring market trends and industry dynamics to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement
Collaborating with procurement Finance and budget owners on creation of annual operating plan and monthly forecasting
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
15+ years of strategic sourcing, indirect and direct category management experience
Experience with generating Demand Savings and Supply Savings with equal finesse
International Experience of leading global and regional teams
The role will require regular global travel
Preferred
Master's Degree or MBA desired
