Responsibilities
Own assigned areas of the monthly close process, including journal entries and reconciliations
Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and key control accounts
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting schedules
Support payroll processing, expense reporting, and credit card reconciliations
Review accounts payable documentation for accuracy, approvals, and policy compliance
Investigate and resolve discrepancies and variances
Partner cross functionally with Operations, HR, and leadership
Identify opportunities to streamline and improve accounting processes
Assist with ad hoc projects and initiatives related to growth and reporting readiness
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3+ years of accounting experience
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and reconciliation best practices
Comfortable working independently in a flexible, hybrid environment
Proven self starter with strong communication skills
Ability to take ownership and drive improvements with minimal oversight
Preferred
Experience in healthcare and or private equity backed organizations
NetSuite or comparable ERP experience
Public accounting background a plus
CPA or actively pursuing CPA preferred
Experience in high growth or evolving environments
