HCLTech is seeking a seasoned Oracle Fusion Conversion Tech Lead to own and deliver end-to-end data conversion for their Oracle Fusion Cloud applications. This role involves leading the technical migration strategy, building ETL pipelines, managing data quality, and collaborating with various stakeholders throughout the data migration process.

Responsibilities

Lead the data conversion , planning, and execution for Oracle Fusion Cloud modules (Finance, SCM etc .. as applicable) and develop the solutions where needed
Define and manage the data migration roadmap, including legacy data analysis, extraction, cleansing, transformation, loading, and validation
Experience in data extracts from legacy systems such as NetSuite, QAD, MS Dynamics GP and transformation using Python, Scripts/Tools such as Alteryx is a must
Collaborate with functional teams to identify conversion requirements and mapping rules between legacy and Fusion Cloud data structures
Develop and oversee conversion templates, data mapping documents, and validation scripts
Manage and coordinate the execution of conversion cycles (mock loads, trial runs, cutover, final migration)
Work with technical teams to design and optimize ETL scripts, FBDI templates, ADFDI, HDL, and web service integrations
Ensure data quality and reconciliation by developing audit, balancing, and validation reports
Coordinate with business owners for data sign-off and approval
Provide leadership and guidance to the conversion team (developers, analysts, offshore/onshore resources)
Troubleshoot conversion errors and work with Oracle support as needed
Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and audit requirements during migration

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
8+ years of experience in Oracle applications data conversion, with at least 3+ years in Oracle Fusion Cloud
Proven experience in leading conversion teams through multiple implementation cycles
Hands-on experience in SQL, PL/SQL, and ETL tools
Experience with data reconciliation, balancing reports, and validation
Oracle Fusion certification in Finance, SCM modules
Experience in global implementations and complex multi-ERP legacy environments
Familiarity with data governance and compliance frameworks (SOX, GDPR, etc.)
Strong expertise in data migration tools: FBDI (File-Based Data Import), ADFDI (ADF Desktop Integrator), Web Services/REST APIs for Fusion data loading
Strong knowledge of Fusion data model across Finance, SCM (as per project scope)
Data transformation using Python, Alteryx or Oracle ATP database
Ability to work with large data volumes, ensuring performance optimization and accuracy
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills

Preferred

Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall) is a plus
Experience in data extracts from legacy systems such as NetSuite, QAD, MS Dynamics GP and transformation using Python, Scripts/Tools such as Alteryx
