DMD Systems Recovery, LLC. provides IT Asset Disposition solutions and is seeking a Data Destruction Technician. The role involves the secure destruction of client data through various methods and assisting with the grading of equipment.

Responsibilities

Destroy Data

Erase or Shred HDD

Image Devices

Record condition and grade

Input all data into ERP

Monitor Erasure Software

Recommendations and actions to improve the department and outcomes

Offsite projects as appropriate

Other duties as necessary and assigned

Qualification

Required

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

Basic computer skills

Great communication skills, detailed-oriented, and consistent

Collaboration in a team environment

Physical ability to stand for long periods of time, squat, twist, bend, and lift between 10-50 lbs. (or more) regularly

Preferred

Previous warehouse experience

Experience with sanitizing / testing HDDs and SSDs

Experience troubleshooting issues with enterprise-grade information systems (servers, networking equipment, storage arrays, etc.), laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
