Responsibilities
Maintains order in sample storage locations
Keeps, cleans, and stores incoming coolers for future use
Receives supplies and distributes or stores as needed
Receives incoming sample deliveries from clients or couriers
Follow all Safety, Ethics and Quality practices
Maintain all required documentation with accuracy and clarity
Read, understand and perform all applicable laboratory SOPs as written
Log samples into Laboratory Information Data System (LIMS)
Qualification
Required
Associates Degree and 3 to 4 years of related experience or a High School Diploma/GED, with some college and or technical training plus 6 years of related experience to the job description listed above
The ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security, pass a background check, and drug screen
Excellent written and verbal communications skills, the ability to think critically, and direct ecological risk assessment experience
Precious experience working in an Environmental Analytical Laboratory
Proficient with a LIMS
Must be able to work on-site at the Ft. Meade, MD Laboratory Monday through Friday. This position does not offer any Hybrids work schedules at this time
