Human Resources Generalist - Home First
Givens Communities is a senior housing organization dedicated to improving lives through communities and services for older adults. They are seeking a full-time Human Resources Generalist to support daily HR operations, guide team members on HR-related matters, and assist with Talent Acquisition efforts.

Responsibilities
Assist with development, customization, and management of the HRIS and provide backup support for the HR Assistant and Givens Communities HR Generalist
Assist with the coordination of the company’s compliance with various governmental regulations affecting labor; i.e. Equal Employment Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, Age Discrimination Act, Americans with Disabilities Act- as Amended, National Labor Relations Act, Family Medical Leave Act, and other significant articles of legislation, along with HRD/legal counsel as required
Work closely with HR leadership to research, develop, and recommend personnel and managerial policies, procedures, and programs for implementation as needed
Perform the pre-employment, post-offer screenings for new team members
Assist supervisors and managers (and team members) through the corrective action process and procedures to ensure consistent application and organization precedent setting
Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team and manage recruitment for assigned departments, including, sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding handoff
Represent the organization at job fairs, recruiting events, colleges, and professional development organizations; speak about career opportunities within Givens Communities
Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor
Qualification
Required
Must have, as a minimum, one- or two-year's previous experience in an office setting
Must have strong technology proficiency
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills needed
Preferred
Experience with HRIS system and ATS desired though not required
Associates degree or equivalent experience preferred
