KeyBank is a national association that provides various financial services. The Lead Finance Analyst will support executive leadership by providing forecasting and reporting, while also conducting financial analysis to improve performance and assist business clients.

Responsibilities

Providing accurate and insightful financial reporting

Performing financial analysis to identify areas for financial performance improvement. Effectively communicate results, insights, and recommendations to the Finance leadership team

Conducting ad-hoc financial performance analysis to assist in understanding forecast results and trends

Complete and communicate monthly/quarterly/annual analysis of financial results and performance to targets

Provide information related to business initiatives & drivers of favorable and unfavorable performance

Provide proactive ideas, advice, and financial modeling

Provide guidance and act as liaison between FP&A and selected partners, relative to financial performance. Partners include, but are not limited to, accounting, human resources, marketing, technology, treasury, and other line of business segments

Required

Bachelors Degree (Finance, Accounting or related field)

2+ years of analytical experience in Finance, Business or related field

Organized self-starter with the ability to think and work independently and creatively

Strong financial and/or accounting acumen

Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish solid working relationships with multiple teams and individuals with varying levels of expertise

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Proficient in project management/proven ability to lead cross functional team projects

Proven team player, willing to assist others as needed to ensure that group deadlines are met and quality standards achieved

Ability to manage time and multiple tasks effectively

Detail oriented with the ability to thoroughly analyze and resolve issues with limited direction
