Main Line Health is seeking a Summer 2026 Intern with IT Security Analyst. In this role, you will assist in establishing and maintaining a secure technology environment, focusing on various aspects of cyber security including incident forensics, monitoring security systems, and performing penetration testing.

Responsibilities

Assist many facets of cyber security including incident forensics, investigations and response (DFIR)
Monitoring and maintenance of security systems and appliances
Detecting and responding to threats and compromises
Configuring and validating security appliances such as firewalls, e-mail filters, proxies, and anti-malware tools
Performing internal penetration testing
Validating results
Evaluating existing and newly disclosed vulnerabilities across various systems including IoT & Biomedical equipment
Assist with coordination efforts for performing vulnerability remediation
Work under the direction of the Security Operations Director and other Information Security Analysts
Collaborate with other IT teams

Required

Meaningful coursework in technology or information security related discipline
High School or GED
Working towards BS in Computer Science or related field
