Responsibilities

Supporting the implementation of Buckeye’s Tank Integrity Programs, including, but not limited to, Receiving and performing quality control of tank inspection and post modification tank inspection reports to ensure reports are in compliance with company standards

Performing analysis to determine re-inspection intervals and tank alarm levels

Supporting the tank repair determination process

Coordinating tank failure and metallurgical analyses

Participating in reviews of the Tank Integrity related manuals and other relevant manuals

Maintaining Tank Integrity related databases and tracking tools and interfacing with Corrosion Control, GIS, and other corporate programs as required to integrate data in support of the overall Tank Integrity activities

Conducting risk analyses to determine which preventive/mitigative measures may be performed and their timing

Communicating critical Tank Integrity program/project concerns related to risk, scope, schedule, cost, etc

Managing field execution of Tank Integrity special projects

Providing support for Asset Integrity Team members

And other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering or related field is required

Typically, 2+ years of relevant experience

Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications required

Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory codes relating to tank integrity management is required

10% travel possible

Excellent communication, both written and verbal, as well as strong organizational skills are paramount

Excellent analytical skills to resolve business and operations problems

Good communication skills to consult with users to provide technical assistance

Well organized with the ability to keep accurate records and provide status updates

Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards

Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards

Compliance with all personnel policies

Occasionally move inside the office to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc

Continuously operates a computer and other office equipment

May require climbing tank stairways and entering tanks through manways

Preferred

Engineer-in-Training certification is highly desirable

API-653 or API-510 certification, or equivalent experience, is preferred

Proficiency with SQL, ESRI GIS, PowerBI, FME, Python, R, or other programming languages to perform data analysis is helpful
