Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new utility vegetation management opportunities
Build and maintain relationships with utility, municipal, state, and federal clients
Conduct client outreach via calls, meetings, site visits, and industry events
Review RFPs, maps, and specifications to assess scope, risk, and opportunity
Perform job walks and develop cost models, crew structures, and production assumptions
Support pricing and bid development (T&M, unit price, fixed price, negotiated bids)
Partner with Business Development, Sales, and Operations teams throughout the bid process
Participate in internal estimate reviews and proposal preparation
Maintain organized bid documentation and support change order pricing as needed
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in vegetation management, construction, or utility line clearance
Strong understanding of field operations and estimating processes
Ability to read and interpret maps and technical specifications
Strong analytical, math, and cost-modeling skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
Willingness to travel regularly within assigned region
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
Preferred
ISA Certified Arborist
Certified Tree Safety Professional (CTSP)
Experience with tree inventory software
