Responsibilities

Prepare or review the company's federal tax calculations for compliance, reporting, disclosures, and audits, as well as relevant computations and support as needed the quarterly and annual tax provision

Prepare or maintain workpapers for both temporary and permanent differences for federal proforma and state and local tax returns

Conduct technical analysis of tax positions and document clearly and accurately

Ensure compliance with all relevant U.S. federal tax laws and regulations

Collaborate with tax, finance, and business cross-functional teams when needed to gather critical data and complete analysis

Monitor changes in federal tax legislation and assess their impact on the company

Coordinate with external advisors and tax authorities as needed

Support M&A teams to ensure accurate documentation and analysis for acquired companies with respect to federal, state and local tax issues
