Responsibilities

Contributing to the mechanical design of Apple’s products
Working closely with cross-functional teams including Industrial Design, Hardware Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Thermal, Safety, Packaging, Wireless, EMC, and Operations

Required

Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering
Experience in product design
Experience developing parts and assemblies in 3-D CAD
Knowledge of plastic and metal part design
Knowledge of design cycle from concept to manufacturing
Ability to travel internationally (up to 20%)

Preferred

Masters Degree in an Engineering discipline
Experience in plastic and metal part design
Experience with design cycle from concept to manufacturing
High volume mass production experience
Experience with FEA for mechanical parts
Experience in the areas of: GD&T, Tolerance Analysis, Statistical Analysis, Design of Experiments
Innovative thinking, high personal motivation, deep engineering capability
