Integrated Business Planning Leader

The Integrated Business Planning Leader will support the SIOP/PSI process for the Wabtec Railway Electronics business unit, focusing on improving customer satisfaction, business profitability, and inventory efficiency.

Responsibilities
Develop, lead, and execute business SIOP/PSI strategy, yielding improved value/experience for customers and enhanced revenue/margin growth for business
Partner with commercial, finance, operations, and engineering teams to develop and drive the planning process to deliver the agreed upon volume forecast and achievable plan of record, ensures gaps and overlaps are addressed, scenario plans are aligned, and issues escalated and/or resolved
Responsible for demand planning with all WRE and component supply needed from the WRE Fulfillment Team to meet commercial demand. This includes monitoring plant and supplier capacities to ensure demand is balanced to match supply, plant/supplier capacities are increased to match demand, or demand is adjusted to align to supply capabilities
Forecast short- and long-term sales and inventory levels based on customer orders, material input, capacity constraints, and COGS across product lines
Drive a culture emphasizing Lean, Continuous Improvement, and problem-solving to ensure the continued development and growth of assigned personnel through strong Lean leadership
Qualification
Required
Engineering degree (Bachelor of Science) from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 4 years of cross functional experience in operations/planning/electronics manufacturing in a high-mix low volume environment
Strong working knowledge ERP/MRP
Experience leading operational change in a complex and diverse environment
APICS certification or related Supply Chain experience
Demonstrated ability to tactfully challenge the status quo
Solid conceptual and analytical thinking and proven ability to solve complex tasks with high level of ambiguity, under time pressure
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong influencing skills and ability to build lasting relationships across multiple layers in the organization and able to gain respect of cross functional organization
Highly organized and ability to deliver results through others
