Responsibilities

Ensure that the Gemini App delivers high-quality, reliable responses across all user segments and key user journeys

Serve as the primary Eng PoC for various quality improvement initiatives that drive the end-to-end quality bar, ensuring responses are helpful, accurate, and high-utility across diverse user intents

Analyze user pain points and behavioral data to refine the quality improvement roadmap

Prioritize engineering solutions by partnering with Gemini Model team, PMs, and UX Research to bridge the gap between model capabilities and user-facing product impact

Spearhead the development of response frameworks for safety-sensitive topics with a dedicated focus across all user segments

Required

BS, MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience

Experience working on LLM product, data or evaluation

Strong communication skills and a reliable team player

Proven knowledge and experience of programming in Java, C++, or Python in production environments

Strong data analysis skills

Experience with ML, especially LLMs

Ability to thrive and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders
