Responsibilities

Support the design and analysis of overhead and underground transmission lines (69kV–500kV), including structure loading, conductor selection, and line routing

Apply NESC, ASCE, and utility standards to ensure compliant, high‑quality designs

Assist with project delivery from concept through construction, including scheduling, estimating, and coordination

Prepare and review engineering drawings, calculations, and technical documentation

Participate in design reviews to ensure accuracy, constructability, and alignment with project scope

Coordinate with project managers, designers, and other disciplines to meet schedule and budget objectives

Provide technical input for proposals and bids as required

Engage with clients and stakeholders to support delivery goals

Follow company standards, safety processes, and risk management practices

Support a collaborative, inclusive, and safety‑focused team environment

Qualification

Professional Engineer (PE) licenseTransmission line engineeringPLS-CADDAutoCADCivil 3DBIM toolsCommitment to safetyCommunication skillsContinuous learning

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering

Professional Engineer (PE) license required or ability to obtain within 12 months

5+ years of experience in transmission line or related utility infrastructure engineering

Working knowledge of PLS‑CADD, PLS‑POLE, SAG10, or LPILE

Experience working with utilities, EPC contractors, or engineering consultants

Strong communication skills and ability to manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment

Commitment to safety, continuous learning, and professional development

Preferred

Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or BIM tools preferred
