Responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve network outages and system failures

Provide mentorship and training to Tier 1 and Tier 2 staff

Serve as the primary liaison between Networking teams, Microsoft leadership, and on-shift personnel

Configure network devices via CLI, deploy patches, and optimize Layer 2/3 protocols

Monitor and enforce adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and recommend process improvements

Required

5+ years demonstrated performance in network engineering technology, with a bachelor's degree or industry equivalent experience

Demonstrated expertise with WAN/Internet transport and routing technologies, such as BGP, MPLS, and SD-WAN, to be able to assist product level experts in network operations and sustainment

Expertise in working with & troubleshooting cloud network technologies such as ExpressRoute and Azure Virtual Networks
