Conflicts Analyst
TAD PGS, Inc. is a leading organization in the Chicago area, seeking a Conflicts Analyst to support legal risk management and new business intake. The role involves identifying and resolving potential conflicts of interest while collaborating with attorneys and firm leadership.
Responsibilities
Conduct daily conflicts checks for new clients and matters
Assist with conflicts reviews for lateral hires as needed
Analyze detailed conflict reports and accurately document findings
Perform in‑depth research using internal systems and external databases
Identify related parties, affiliates, investments, and organizational relationships
Summarize conflicts findings and clearly communicate potential risks
Partner with attorneys and senior conflicts leadership to recommend resolutions
Coordinate conflict resolution documentation, including engagement letters, waivers, and ethical walls
Enter, maintain, and analyze data in conflicts and intake systems
Assign new matter numbers and ensure records meet compliance standards
Contribute to intake workflow improvements and system updates
Serve as a resource for attorneys and staff regarding conflicts procedures
Assist with special projects and provide after‑hours or weekend support as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in legal studies, information management, or a related field (strongly preferred)
Minimum 2 years of experience in legal research or conflicts/new business intake
Preferred
Experience in a law firm, professional services, or consulting environment
Working knowledge of the ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct related to conflicts
Strong research skills and ability to analyze large volumes of complex data
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Comfortable communicating with attorneys, leadership, and support staff
Familiarity with conflicts and new business intake systems (Intapp Open a plus)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and accuracy
