Responsibilities
Identify and cultivate local businesses and corporate sponsors aligned with BOC’s mission
Conduct outreach and follow-up (email, phone, occasional in-person)
Coordinate sponsorship packages for performances and fundraising initiatives
Track prospects, proposals, and follow-ups
Support fundraising events such as house concerts and donor gatherings
Assist with sponsor engagement and stewardship related to events
Maintain accurate donor and sponsor records in the CRM
Track outreach activity and contributions
Support basic reporting and pipeline updates
Work closely with the Executive Director and administrative support
Participate in regular check-ins (hybrid; Boulder-based availability preferred)
Qualification
Required
Experience in relationship-building and cultivating partnerships
Ability to conduct outreach and follow-up through various communication methods (email, phone, in-person)
Experience in coordinating sponsorship packages for performances and fundraising initiatives
Ability to track prospects, proposals, and follow-ups
Experience supporting fundraising events and donor engagement
Ability to maintain accurate donor and sponsor records in a CRM
Experience tracking outreach activity and contributions
Ability to support basic reporting and pipeline updates
Willingness to collaborate closely with the Executive Director and administrative support
Availability for regular check-ins in a hybrid work environment (Boulder-based preferred)
Preferred
Experience working in a nonprofit arts organization
Familiarity with fundraising and development strategies
Knowledge of the opera or performing arts sector
