Responsibilities
Monitoring and removal of invasive plants
Maintaining plantings as part of habitat restoration projects
Trail maintenance and trail building
Monitoring flora and fauna within the preserves owned by the land alliance
Leading educational nature walks and program
Working with volunteers and staff in preserve management projects
Qualification
Required
Commitment to environmental conservation
Comfortable being outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
Comfortable working both independently and with a team
Research, communication and writing skills
Ability to lift 50 lbs
The ability to get to and between job sites is a must!
Preferred
Ability to identify local flora/fauna species
Experience with gardening/plant care
Experience managing invasive plants
Interest/Experience leading educational programs
